Construction processes

Site visit and survey

The first step in this process is for us to visit you at the site and discuss your ideas on materials, colour, style and also your garden requirements and budget, all of which will be aided by a selection of brochures and material samples.

During this meeting we can give you construction advice and look at the feasibility of any ideas. We will also conduct a site survey which any future drawings will be produced from.

Designing, planning and specification planting plan

From the meeting described above we will produce a set of outline drawings at which point any changes to the design can be made.

Once a final design has been agreed a master plan will be produced, this will be a detailed coloured design of the whole garden showing any construction detailing. If required a planting plan will also be produced at this time.

With this drawing you will also get a specification and the costings which will show in detail how we will construct your garden showing any legalities that may be applicable, and the terms of payment.

Marking out and project management

The marking out will always be done with the designer on site so if needed any slight alterations can be made.

Throughout the construction process we will constantly liaise with the client so they are fully aware of the time line and any unforeseen problems that may affect the final cost. Photographs will be taken throughout the job to show a step by step record of the work carried out.

Construction and machinery workforce

All construction is carried out by our team of fully qualified landscapers. When using any machinery the team will follow strict safety guide lines being aware of themselves and the surrounding areas, they will only be able use equipment that they have been trained on.

Finishing touches

Finishing touches can make or break a garden so we make sure that we produce top quality workmanship to give your garden the wow factor.

Once the job is completed we will wash down all the hard surfaces leaving the site in a clean and presentable state.
